Ardahan is one of the husbandry centers with its bovine number of 350.000 and annual 200.000 of goose production and 500 tones of honey production. It carries out husbandry through its purest and cleanest way with its clean nature, large forages and flatlands where the animals can be out at grass and numerous endemic plants. Husbandry and animal products (honey, kashar cheese, goose meat, etc.) are considered as the most significant economical activity of the province. Husbandry is carried out in the province in micro scales and within small business facilities. Ardahan has the potential of turning out to be the center of the natural and additive-free husbandry in Turkey with the investments to be done.
